That is very possible, yes. It would mean taking an external hard drive and copying the hard drive of your old computer to the external hard drive and then transferring the same data to the new computer. Programs would still have to be reinstalled, however. If you know someone who is capable of cloning hard drives, you may be able to get everything from your old computer transferred to the new computer to be set up the same way it was on the old one for a fee. I’d recommend an external hard drive for regular backup anyway.
