How long is the pole? null

The pole is 60". However, it can be cut with a hacksaw to shorten. Shortening also requires that a 1/4" hole be drilled in the pipe. We cut it to 33" to be closer to the ceiling of our patio. Best Buy Geek Squad did the install.
