“Is the bracket wide enough to mount to three studs 16' apart? I have a stud directly on center where I want to hang my TV so in order to hit 2+ studs I need a bracket that has openings for bolts 32" apart to hit three studs.”

Please disregard my previous answer. The Peerless TV mount will not open wide enough for bolts 32" apart at three studs. I had to purchase a Sanus - Elite Service Advanced Tilt TV wall mount in order to hit the stud centered in my wall, and a stud on both sides of this center stud, total 32".
