• Yes, the mounting brackets are separate and can accommodate any size hole pattern. I used it on a Samsung 55" as well.

• We had electricians hide wires & mount Samsung 50 inch model UN50KU6300 FXZA (specs state 400mm x 400mm) using this mount & they said it was easy to install & works perfectly for our Samsung model. It does seem like they mentioned drilling a hole in the cross bar. Not sure if it was necessary or for added support. Mount is super thin!!!
