Can this dog door mount into the wall null

No. It cannot be wall mounted. I purchased this dog door for the purpose of a wall mount. My contractors cut the hole in the exterior wall and then discovered that the PetSafe dog door was strictly meant for a DOOR because when mounted it didn’t fit - too shallow - it didn’t come through the other side. The contractors built a frame around the PetSafe door on the exterior wall (to fill the void) but now trying to get my dog to go in/out of the door is very challenging. ALSO, I think the medium door is too small for my 10lb Poodle mix. The opening is meant for short, thin dogs. I think even a full grown Corgi would have a tough time fitting through the door. I haven’t given up hope yet but I’m not feeling confident that this size door will work.
