You can, but it will only appear in app as ONE solid color/light. Philips has stated they are looking into future app and firmware updates that will allow us to control the different color zones of the strip independently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have a PC connected to your TV, the Sync Box is totally unnecessary. Just download the Hue Sync App to your PC and you are good to go.

Please try again later.All Philips Hue lights are controllable with the Hue app even if the TV is off as long as they are connected to a power source (for these gradient light strips, you will need the Hue Sync app when you want to sync them). These light strips do not get power from the TV so it should not matter.
