- Answer This will require the V2 Hue Bridge. The required sync box requires V2. The V1 bridge is no longer supported.

QuestionCan this be used without the Hue HDMI Sync box? I have no need or desire for the color changing / synchronized light thing. I only want it to throw a soft white light to the sides & above my TV.

- Answer You should look at the regular led strip if you only want a solid color.
