- A:Answer This will require the V2 Hue Bridge. The required sync box requires V2. The V1 bridge is no longer supported.

Q: QuestionCan this be used without the Hue HDMI Sync box? I have no need or desire for the color changing / synchronized light thing. I only want it to throw a soft white light to the sides & above my TV.
