• It has a battery. Does not need a power supply. Actually can be removed and placed anywhere.

• The switch is battery powered, and is actually removable from the wall plate. You can mount the wall plate on the wall with the attached adhesive strips, or drill holes and mount the plate with screws. There’s no hardwiring the switch at all.

• Not at all. Once you have the bridge hooked up to your Wifi, the switch just attaches to the wall via an adhesive and you're good to go. The switch is actually a remote, so you can preset lighting in the app and walk around your home with it.
