• Yes you buy the hue hub seperate with this pack. This particular pack does not need a hub it is able to run off Bluetooth and am app.

• The hue hub, which you will need, is sold separately either by itself or in the starter kit. Wi-Fi is also required for these bulbs to work. It is a very simple set up using the hue app on your smart phone or tablet

• You’ll need a hub. Philips has different lights called WIZ that work without one. You’ll need wifi tho to use the hub. You can install yourself using smart device app or desktop app.
