“Do I need to have my bluetooth on for the duration that I want to use the lightbulb? If I set my the bulb to a certain color, would it remain at that color if I turn off my bluetooth?”

Your phone doesn't have to stay connected to the light bulb, you connect to it if you open the app and then the light bulb remembers the settings like color and brightness without the app open.

Yup! Just tried it rn and stays at what ever color/dim setting after turning off Bluetooth
