• It's shape is unusual, sure, but it fits where a standard bulb would. 4.3 inches. Go to meethue.com, click products, find the category you want, click "learn more" then click the "specifications" tab. It's all there for all the bulbs.

• Took a manual measurement and it appears to be approximately 4 1/16" in length from the top of the bulb to the bottom of the socket. Tried finding this detail in the product's insert documentation and on meethue.com without luck. Hope this helps.
