“Does anyone know what is and isn't covered under the Geek Squad coverage? If the bulb fails before a year - as in it stops working, does Hue replace it? Does the Geek Squad protection offer the same coverage after a year? is anyone opting for it?”

We bought the insurance with the Hue bulbs but we haven't had to use the insurance, but from what I understand they will replace the bulb for free no question asked. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I opt for GSP on all my purchases. In the instance of this bulb, to the best of my knowledge, it is a 2 year replacement plan for $7.99. If the bulb goes out from normal wear and tear, to my knowledge Best Buy will replace it on the spot!
