Can this bulb be controlled by the Alexa app null

Yes! I have 4 of them in my bedroom and am able to control them with my Echo Dot. Of course, you need an Alexa enabled device like the Echo or Echo Dot. Also, you will need a smart hub that supports the Zigbee protocol such as the Hue Hub or Wink Hub (I have both and they play nicely together.) The Wink Hub supports more protocols than the Hue Hub.

The bulb needs a hub. I have an old Hue hub that doesn't work very well. I replaced it with the new Echo Plus which seems quite a bit more reliable.
