Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have a bulb inside however you are unable to access it to change it. If the bulb goes out for some reason, you need to purchase an entire new one. Unless you’re bloom is still under warranty then Philips will replace for free. This happened to me after about 14 months of owning my last one so I bought the additional year of warranty through Best Buy for six dollars this time. No-brainer.

Please try again later.The instructions inside mention that opening the product can void the warranty and there are no visible light bulb or instructions on replacing one in or on the package. I have not had mine long enough to have any issues with it, but, to me it looks like there is no replaceable light bulb. Geek Squad has an affordable extra warranty coverage that I have found is worth the investment on most electronics.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The bulbs are self contained smart bulbs. So when they go out you need to buy a new one. Since they are LED they should last a long time. I use standard Phillips LED bulbs as well and they have been installed for over 3 years now and still going strong. The smart bulbs look identical to the standard ones. Also, they are 60 watt equivalent bulbs.
