No this is an extension piece, you need to buy the original light strip with the included power supply.

Please try again later.You are forced to buy the kit, because if not, people would just buy the inexpensive extension and the power supply, and save a bunch of money that way. Philips doesnt want that. However, you might find just the power supply used on EBay for cheap. Just make sure that you get one with the correct amount of ports (or holes) that matches the extension strip you got because there are two different Philips Hue strips, and they have different adapter pins.
