• They are the same. The reason Philips describes the bulbs as white + multicolor is because when they display white, you have the option to display a broad range of temperature colors. Some advertisements just call them multicolor. They do have a white only bulb also.

• I have this one. It offers multiple colors at an impressive range. It can actually be more "white" than the non-color bulbs. Hope that helps.

• As far as I know, every Hue bulb can produce white light.
