The bridge (at least in my experience with the Hue Bridge 2nd Genration) it will control multiple devices without issue. I own the Phillips Hue Bridge (2nd generation), 2 sets of Lightstrip plus, and 3 Phillips Hue White E26 bulbs. They all connect to the bridge without issue. As I've shared in a review, if for whatever reason the bridge cannot auto detect your devices, it is wise to be proactive and write down / save the serial number off of the bulbs, and OR save the serial number from the lightstrip itself (I believe this is located on the inside of the light strip plus box). This allows you to manually detect the devices (if needed) via your smartphone app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just one, You can connect up to 50 bulbs or strips on one philips hue bridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One Hue hub will control all the Hue lights or strips that you want to install in your home... Each bulb or strip, has it's own unique MAC Address, that establishes the communication channel between the hub and each device, just like the IP address you use with your home networks. Each printer, tv or anything else in your house that connects to the internet has both an IP address, and a MAC Address. And just like you can connect to many things in your home, using just your computer or your cell phone, the hub connects to EVERY compatible device in your system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You only need one hub for up to 50 bulbs including lightstrip, hue go, bloom, iris, single bulbs A19, GU10, PAR16, BR30 and the new Pheonix lights. I even have a couple of GE link bulbs paired to Hue.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes one bridge can drive all types of Philips zigbee lights. You have to look at the kit content. Some of the old kits included the old style hub (old round vs new square). I did test the philips white bulbs and both styles of light strips and they work perfect with the new hub. I did not purchase or tested the old style hub.
