“Does each strip or 6.6' section need to be plugged in? I am looking to use them in kitchen for either over/under cabinet lighting, I would need 3-4 sections depending on over or under.”

Yes each strip needs to be plugged into an outlet. You also need the bridge which plugs into outlet and router. I used 4 strips for my kitchen and it worked out perfectly!

Yes each 6.6 needs power you can purchase the add on 3 ft. But that is maximum length

Yes, the strip has to be plugged in to work. They are not wireless. If this does not work for you I saw a cute alternative. Using Christmas lights with Command Strips under cabinets. These also have to be plugged in but it is longer alternative.

NO. You just plug the first strip in and the add the extensions.
