“Can this product be hardwired in, or can it only be pluged in?”

• I believe you can only plug in - the wireless link to hub and your router is built into the “plug section”. I installed a couple receptacles inside cabinets to make it completely seamless / invisible. Placing something in front of outlets and where possible is another easier option. Results are dramatic.
