• You can use any philips branded color ambiance lights with the sync box. Within the philips hue app you must set up an entertainment area which will be the LEDs responding to the light show you want to provide through the sync box

• You can use up to 10 color capable lights according to Philips Hue. So i would think you would be able to use the light strips.
