• No, it's my understanding they are for the inside only. There is another Philips Hue products that may be used for exterior needs.

• No, this is an indoor light only. Philip's Hue does have an outdoor rated version though. Also no, you can't use nails to mount this. The strip is a small circuit board, if you pierce it you will short it out.
