You can connect up to 6 extensions; each extension is about half the length of the original. The extensions do come with an approximately 3 inch optional connector, or you can plug each directly in to the end of the strip or a previous extension. Ignoring the connectors, the total length is supposed to be 80 plus 6 times 40 inches long, or 320 inches, or 26 feet 8 inches. I did not measure precisely enough to adjust for differences between the marketing label and the actual length.

I remember reading and thinking it wasn't a lot. if u have 2 plugs near each other u could start on one end with one plug and some extenders and then start on another plug with another original. that way u would cover more space with less extenders. just a thought. I hope this helps u. if that bothers u on turning them on, us can always have Alexa turn them on as a group all together.
