No - Philips doesn’t support this but with some googling and eBay you might find a workaround to reuse the excess Lightstrip.

No. The cut end no longer has the connection for the extension.

No. The extension is via a snap in connector which you will have cut off. There is no simple way to connect the wired sections unless you try to connect each mini wire and apply electrical tape to prevent shocks or short circuit.
