Correct. Unless you plan to daisy chain them, you will need the main starter kit which includes the power supply, for each separate run you wish to do. There are however, third party adapters if you want to for instance, split the runs from the one power supply to 3 different directions. Check out Litcessory for the adapters and options. I’m using Litcessory for (3) 90 corners which had to be spliced in order to make the turns on the back of my 65” TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope, each strip needs a power source. there is an extension you can get for each though but you can’t connect the individual strips together. Haha Hue isn’t meant to be cheap, it’s really a premium product in my opinion.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s still the best option unless you want a custom job hardwired. But lighting is tricky sometimes. You might get one bulb that doesn’t respond. So you can take your system apart if needed.
