It plugs into a standard wall outlet and Is controlled by the Philips Hue light bridge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Maria, One end of these light strips plug into a standard US wall plug / brick, the other side of these lights (assuming they haven't been cut) allow you to daisy chain another Phillips light strip plus extension if needed. Please remember, these light-strips require the Phillips Hue Bridge that control Hue lighting accessories and is all accessible / modifiable through a smartphone app. You can program the lighting system to custom colors (depending on the product(s) you've purchased as well behavior as to when you arrive or leave the Wi-Fi area of the Hue Bridge. I hope this answers your question.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a small "wall wart" power adapter that plugs into a home power outlet. Note this adapter is dual-voltage/auto-switching, so you can use this in both U.S. 110v and overseas 220v environments. No batteries. I don't know how you'd do that.
