“I have an Onkyo amp and 5.1.2 sound and I currently have my PS4 and Directv HDMI plugged into my receiver and then my receiver plugs into my tv. where would the Sync box go? would I have to plug my devices into the synch box and then the synch box to tv?”

• If your receiver has just one HDMI out, then the Sync\Box goes between the receiver Output and the TV. If your receiver has two HDMI Outputs, you can send one to the TV and one to Sync box. I know someone with this setup and it works well for them.
