You can set it to turn on with input, or use the app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It turns on automatically whenever connection is detected. However, I have experienced being stuck on standby mode and having to open the app to turn standby mode off. It is on the top right off the app upon opening, so you don’t have to navigate to it through the app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From using this so far I have been able to turn the lights on and off with my HomePod or light switch as normal. I can also use the app to turn the lights on and off. In the app you can set it to automatically start light sync with each input or only certain ones. You do have to stop the sync through the app though when you’re done using them so you can turn them off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to download a second Hue app on your phone and you can control them from there.
