“I want to use this on a PS5, but if I do I will lose the 120 FPS . If I plug this into my 5.1 channel receiver with HDMI ARC and then pass that through my tv while plugging my PS5 into the other HDMI 2.1 port will it still work as intended?”

It can not read 120 FPS. The box is only able to pass through 4K 60fps UHD. 120 FPS is a experience yes but so is this lighting. There is a fork in the road pick your path.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only way your PS5 is going to 120fps is straight into your 2.1 port. I run my PS5 through the box so I can play story games and watch movies with the sync box but I have a separate cable for competive games if I want the higher frame rates. Hope that helps.
