“I like the system, but it was the problem with the tragically short HDMI cable they provide to connect between the box and the TV? I read that it is the ONLY one that works? Can anyone suggest a cable that may work that is longer?”

I had a different HDMI cable already hooked up to my tv. I just plugged that in and it works fine. Just make sure the cable can handle 4K if any of the sources you connect to it can provide that quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I forgot about this. I had that same issue but the truth is you can use any hdmi cable. I switched the cable with the one o use for my PlayStation 4 and both work perfectly fine. Try it out. Hope this helps.
