• Yes it will work, I have 4 hue play lights and a light strip and they all work awesomely with this.

• YES. you can sync all your hue lights. i had 2 strip lights, 2 play lights, a bloom light, and 2 of the normal screw in lights all going at the same time. a little over kill, but it was fun to play with.
