I had the exact problem. I then found an article on Reddit that gave the fix. You cannot plug this device into a power strip. I highly recommend plugging this straight into the wall. It instantly fixed all our problems with our box. It works amazingly well!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This happened to me too. Very frustrating. I kept switching ports on my tv and also the box it self. It eventually worked best with HDMI 4. I have one source going into my sync box. Upon all my research, people always recommended ports 2 and 4.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried those suggestions and no luck. Maybe I'm bad luck cause I've tried 3 boxes and they all do the same. Purple light, box reboots, lose my sync. Ive tried different inputs, cables, methods of connections (i.e. Xbox to reciever to sync box to tv, or xbox to sync box to reciever to tv, etc etx) after 8 months, I believe I've tried everything. But seeing as other people don't have the same issue.... I'm at a loss. Really bums me out cause when this works..... I love it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.first time setting up was perfect after I unplugged the box and moved it I feel like it created a whole lot of issues but I found by leaving it unplugged and uninstalling the app and redowloading/setting up again and modifying the setting under the app using the auto turn on with device it works good as new. Not ideal considering the amount of money spent on it but the product does not seem to make a difference if exchanged. Hopefully they come out with some updates soon to correct connection concerns.
