Extreme Temperatures (cold or hot) are not good for these bulbs. Humidity and any kind of moisture exposure can also affect these bulbs and pose a hazard. Hue cake out with a PAR 38? Bulb which I am excited to use but am waiting for the same bulb to be available with color ambiance instead of just white.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Note that these bulbs have a "long neck" form so they may not fit in a shallow can. The governing question is the depth of the space between the ceiling and the roof/next floor or whatever limits the depth of the can that will hold the bulb.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use these in recessed ceiling (inside the house). I couldnt use it outside because the sockets were too small and it's a wider bulb. If it fits, you can absolutely use it.
