Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model has an adjustable comb with 24 built-in length settings from 1/32” to 1" (1 to 23mm) at 1/32" (1mm) between each length or use without the comb for a 1/64" (0.5mm) trim.

With the comb on, the #1 wheel setting is equivalent to #0.5 (1/64") comb but the tines are probably longer than you're used to, about 2cm in length and 4 to 4.5mm apart. I would love it if Norelco made an additional comb attachment that had shorter tines that were closer together but overall I cannot complain. Without the comb it trims at 1/64". There is no true "0 setting i.e. The blade isn't adjustable, which doesn't bother me in the least but it might be a big deal to some. If I were you I'd go to a local Best Buy or wherever else you can find it and check it out. Walmart, Target and Meijer here carry them too but they're in the box except maybe Target. The BB's here had them on display so you could hold them. I hope that helps. I snapped a pic of the settings in the manual. These are with the comb. It isn't adjustable without it and cuts at the one length (1/64"). The same handy chart is on a sticker inside the storage case. Great reference.
