Q: QuestionHow to clear/remove the cleaning reminder from this shaver's display when not using the cleaning pod after a shave? (Not convenient to carry cleaning pod, especially when opened, when travelling).

• A:Answer The display reminder is not for using the cleaning pod, which is done once a month or so. The cleaning reminder is to remind you to rinse the shaving head under running water after every shave. The unit is waterproof-before shutting the unit off, rinse the head under the faucet. Then shut off the unit and open the shaving head. Either the top comes off the bottom of the head, or there's a button to push and the top hinges up. Check your manual. This is important as the hair chamber, between the top and bottom of the shaving head, gets full.

• A:Answer Yes, the cable plugs right in to the bottom of the shaver itself. It does NOT charge just by placing it in its station, it has to be plugged in manually each time.

• A:Answer Hello! To replace the blade of the Philips Norelco Shaver S9985/84, press the release button on the shaving unit and pull the shaving head holder off the shaving unit. For detailed instructions, please refer to the user manual. Also, please note that the S9985/84 does not come with a charging stand.
