I’ve used it on my head and it does give a close shave , but I do have to make several passes as it does not catch everything in its first pass. I’ve used it on my arms as well and I also have to make a second or third pass .

Only the long hair end. This is designed more for body hair.

I wouldn't use it on your head hair, it is made for body grooming. You can trim head hair with it if you like, I don't but it isn't a problem to use it that way.

No. The instructions that come with the item say it is not to be used on the head. Unfortunately that is not in the catalog description.

I would only recommend this product on areas from the neck down. I purchased the body groomer with a Philips Norelco 6000 for my neck and face, and while it is definitely an investment, I would say that it's a worthwhile one!

I haven't used the trimmer for that purpose, however it does an acceptable job on body hair in areas that need extreme caution.
