Mike, we do not recommend plugging in a surge protector into this wall plug. We recommend you plug it directly into a wall outlet because daisy chaining two surge‑protecting devices plugged into each other, they share load in unpredictable ways. This can lead to Overheating, Excessive current draw, and a higher fire risk.
