A:AnswerThe remote has voice on it but the TV itself isn't voice activated. Mine turns on by itself as well. I will not own another one. I have turned off all the auto functions and sync but it still turns on by itself. I do live in an apartment so maybe someone's remote is causing it, but it doesn't happen on my other TV's.
