A:Answer To get good live music audio recording you'd probably need to plug in a good quality external microphone, select the highest quality recording mode, and even then if you weren't in a good location relative to the music source, you might get a poor recording even with professional equipment. At any rate, based on experience recording different types of audio, I'd say this isn't the right recorder for you purpose.
