There are different colors of light in this model, so the sunrise is more naturally simulated. The $59.00 model only has a white light. This model also has more nature/bird sounds on it, and a radio function. However, the largest difference is simply in build quality. I feel like the stand on the $59.00 model will eventually break, while it doesn't seem possible on the higher-priced item.
