Spent a lot of time chatting with customer support and they kept giving me instructions to reset the picture/sound. I had already done this several times with no luck. Then they were giving me instructions to go to areas in the Settings that don't exist on this model. After reading comments on this site and other Pioneer reviews regarding audio, it sounds like it's an ongoing problem.

Look for an option related to audio delay, lip sync, or audio synchronization. Adjust the delay until the audio matches the video. If using external speakers or soundbar: If your TV has an audio output (such as an optical or HDMI ARC port), connect external speakers or a soundbar. Sometimes using external speakers can improve audio synchronization. For more product assistance you may contact Pioneer Customer Service at 1 800-421-1404.
