• definitely in dash, I haven't seen anything that wasn't in at least 30 years

• Yes it is,People call an in dash radio a head unit,Fairly new to me as well,my son and his friends refer to it a such. :)

• Yes it’s is a in dash radio it is also called head unit based on the location of the radio.. Anything that makes something work and run is called the head! Same as your body
