I have a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta that I also had installed with GPS, the radio works but when I put in a location it will work and then it freezes and I have to stop some where to get out of GPS and start all over I had the Tech check this, they don't understand either by the Bluetooth doesn't work either I need to have hands free to use my phone. I think the radio/GPS is bad or WAVES is not working right. I have a Kenwood which is a good unit not sure if its bad or what I am looking at the Pioneer now to replace this unit. I hope this help you. I am going to replace the unit with a different unit hope its note WAVES and just the radio is bad.
