“Do I need to pay additional for the gps and how does it update the gps? Also, does it still play music while using the gps?”

• The radio still plays while in GPS mode. I have not had time to investigate the map updating. It looks like it would update via either a USB port, or via a cell phone. According to the papers I have with the radio it 'says' free lifetime maps.

• GPS is included in the unit for free. I don’t know about the update, I believe you have to pay. It does play music and also movies while navigating with GPS.
