you can connect your current speakers to it or if you need to change your speakers as I did on my 2007 Nissan Versa. I installed 2 BOSS Audio Systems P65.4C Phantom Series 6.5 Inch Car Stereo Door Speakers - 400 Watts Max, 4 Way in front and 2 JBL - GX Series 6.5" 2-Way in the back and they sound amazing.
