“I saw a comment from a different question that said it would not connect to a CD player. Why would you not be able to use the additional input function to connect the CD player? So there is no way to hook up to an external CD player and utilize input fun”

Most vehicles will require a dash adapter and/or a wiring harness adapter kit. Please work with Best Buy’s Geek Squad. They will verify the fit and assist you with any additional accessories you may need.
