Pioneer makes many different in-dash receivers that work with Apple CarPlay. Some are wireless and others require a wired connection. Both types work great. If you want wireless Apple CarPlay please consider the Pioneer DMH-W2770NEX, Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX or Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX. You can save some money with a wired connection for Apple CarPlay with the Pioneer DMH-1500NEX, or Pioneer DMH-1770NEX. Additionally when your phone is plugged it for CarPlay it's also charging. Please note the Pioneer DMH-342EX where you wrote this message does not work with Apple CarPlay.
