Hi Mel! Thank you for raising this question regarding our Pioneer - 65" Class LED 4K UHD Smart Xumo TV. You can actually mount this on the wall. This television has 4 mounting holes at the back that adheres to VESA mounting pattern: 400 x 300 mm and uses M6 x 16 to 24 mm type screws (4 pcs.). One recommended Mount is the Best Buy Essentials Model# BE-MLFM. I hope this helps. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never seen a tv since the old picture tube days that comes with a fixed base. They come with them separate otherwise the box would be too big just to accommodate the base. Every tv since the digital standard came along has mounting screw holes and probably come with screws.
