You need the Connect Satellite Radio tuner and the adapter for Satellite radio antenna to keep your XM radio. As far as the back up camera, you will have to look that part up because I do not have the back up camera. Im not sure if it will fit your 2004 Tahoe but they do have a vehicle finder where you can look it up and see. You may just have to purchase a face plate in any instance. Which is what I had to do.

As to whether it works with 2004 Tahoe, likely yes, but depends on how original stereo was configured. Crutchfield has good selector tool.
