This unit will support your iPhone via CarPlay, although it may run sluggishly (as it operates depending on the phone). I'd suggest upgrading to a newer iPhone. This unit does have an HDMI port in the rear -- typically a luxury feature these days. This unit is SiriusXM ready -- meaning that it has a port in the back that is used to hook-up an aftermarket SiriusXM tuner (sold separately). It will not play SiriusXM radio out-of-the-box. It has an optical drive that supports both CDs and DVDs (not BluRay).
