Yes. I asked the same question before purchasing, and was told that this is no longer a problem with the newer receivers. I had a PS5 connected without problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. Just make sure you force an update check as there is an update from Pioneer that enables 4k120 HDR VRR no issues. Before the update, 4k120 VRR was not working no matter what on Series X, and on PS5 it was broken corrupted colours. Now both work flawlessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Tony, I had to upgrade myolder model Pioneer receiver, it did not have 4K Pass Thru. I also have an XBox Series X that I do all my subscription streaming on. This receiver works great for the 4K, and the Dolby Atmos sound is amazing for games and movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work fine. I have a Ps5 and running 120 no problem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it won't. I bought one and I'm about to return it. I should have known better. This issue effects every receiver on the market... Every single one It likely wont be fixed until genuinely new models come out in 2023 or 2024 (hopefully). I've tried 2 Denon, 2 Marantz and now this. Prices ranged from $600 to $4000... Same issues with all of them. Major video issues. Thanks Panasonic! Yamaha receivers aren't fixed either. People have been waiting for the "update" for 4k120 VRR ALLM etc etc for months. Software can't fix this.. only a new HDMI chipset can and like I said... Everyone and I mean everyone uses the Panasonic HDMI 2.1 chipset
