• No. Not on the lx-505. The regular Dirac did make corrections in the bass if you allow it to. But only for one sub channel as the lx-505 splits a single sub channel in two.

• While you can connect two subwoofers to the VSX-LX505, only ONE signal is sent to the subwoofer output. The included Dirac Live cannot be upgraded to Dirac Bass Management because that product requires at least two subwoofers with independent inputs.

• I would assume so since Onkyo has the ability to upgrade to the dual subwoofer and Onkyo is the parent company of Pioneer. It does come at a price tag of about $400 to upgrade. I have this receiver and have not looked into upgrading Dirac live so I’m not sure it’s available but I'm sure there is a really good chance that it is.
